Heirloom Whole-Cloth Techniques
Tammy Finkler-TK Quilting

This class will start with a trunk show of some of my whole-cloth
quilts. We will talk about materials, threads and helpful supplies for
making whole-cloth quilts and patterns. Everyone will mark their own
small top with a provided pattern to be finished on your own machine.
I will demonstrate the steps to quilt a whole-cloth while showing
techniques to minimize starts and stops. If machines are available, we
will practice some background quilting.  We will also cover binding,
washing and blocking.  Check the
Teaching Schedule for dates and
locations for this class.
Contact me if you are interested in scheduling a
class at your location.  Class supply list: One pressed piece of light
colored muslin, approximately 44" square.  (The pattern we will be
using is 42".)  Blue marker or pencil for marking.  Straight edged ruler.
